Choice in Writing

This link is a video that my colleague and I created of a writing lesson using VoiceThread.  The students were given a variety of pictures to help inspire them to write a narrative story.  They chose their picture and wrote a short idea of what was happening in the picture.  Then they started developing their stories.  Every student was engaged in this lesson and wrote very entertaining stories.
